Jack Adams is a Brooklyn based singer-songwriter and composer. After moving from his home state of California to New York, he immediately immersed himself in the city's rich folk and rock music scene. He released his first EP, the self-titled Jack Adams in 2019, which featured a companion book of his photography. In April of 2020, he released the intimate EP cicada, and used the time while on lockdown during COVID-19 to record and release a wealth of new material.

First came Still Life, a spare and lovelorn set of country-tinged songs recorded onto 1/4” tape in Jack’s Brooklyn apartment. Caminante followed close behind, and saw Jack experimenting with different genres and technologies, creating a labyrinthian, haunted house of moods for the listener to explore. During this time, Jack was also commissioned to create original scores for two theatrical productions: the droning, apocalyptic blues of The Breach (Music from Henry V) and the analog synth-experiments of Song of the Dying Day (Music from An Iliad).

His most recent release, M I R A G E, is a subconscious slow-jam journey through a quiet storm of the soul. Using synths and drum machines extensively for the first time, these late-night reveries conjure the work of 80’s era songwriters, and marked a major departure for Jack’s sound.
